Milling peat in the bog between Oldtown Donore and Clongorey, using two New Holland tractors and Bord na Mona engineered machines.
Bord na Mona is Irish for "the turf board". Once a semi state body they mill peat on a commercial scale on many of Ireland's bogs. Its used in the manufacture of briquettes and for garden compost.
